Tina’s “Stolen” Lentil Soup

Why is it “Stolen”?

Tina’s “stolen” lentil soup is something she found on Facebook and really loved! Naturally, she shared her positive experience with the family. We’d like to give credit where credit is due but we don’t know who to thank or credit for the origins of this recipe.

Each family has their own versions of countless recipes. We are no exception. We’re highlighting this one because it was passed around in early January 2022. It’s simple and acts as a great foundation for most stew like dishes. This recipe, like many that have been passed down from generation to generation, does not come with solid instructions. Hopefully, some experience will guide you.

Doesn’t say to “mince” the garlic? Figure it out. Doesn’t say what a “pinch” or a “dash” means? Tough luck. You’ll just have to go with your gut on this one.
